Rapaport Legacy APIs

Discover Rapaport’s APIs, Integration Guides, and other documentation.

Introduction

Welcome to Rapaport’s Legacy API integration guides.

This platform is a core part of Rapaport’s mission to support our members with diamond pricing information and selling opportunities.

These documents explain how to connect to Rapaport’s APIs, integrate the Rapaport Price Lists in your diamond software, connect your systems or inventory with RapNet,  and use RapNet Instant Inventory to showcase diamonds and/or jewelry in your online store.

API Overview

To get the most value out of RapNet, our APIs are designed to enable companies of any shape or size to build robust integrations into their software, website, or RapNet itself.

Check out your options and see which one is right for you.

All RapNet’s APIs are designed to have a predictable URL structure. They use many standard HTTP features, including methods (POST, GET, PUT, DELETE) and error response codes.

All responses return standard JSON.

Note: If an API that you require is not published, please contact us and someone from our Tech team will reach out to you.

API Setup & Authentication

You will need an active Rapaport or RapNet subscription in order to connect to our APIs or integrate software.

Developer Access & API Authentication

Developers, programmers, and tech teams interact with Rapaport to access specific resources or data. They need to create an Access Key to access the data. This is the best way to authenticate users and grant access to the data required.

For example: To download and integrate the Rapaport Price List file into diamond software, requires API credentials.
If a programmer’s credentials aren’t authorized, the request is denied.

Note: If you are the programmer/developer, ask the Primary Account holder to set up the Access Keys.
